• Was born in 1957 in Cleveland to William D. Addison, a Navy veteran and 40+ year union machinest at Cleveland Pneumatic Tool Company and Peggy Ann Addison, a union cashier at Uncle Bill’s.
• Is the granddaughter of Virginia and West Virginia coal miners.
• Has been married to Jeffery L. Barker, a small-business owner, for 30 years and they have two sons, ages 27 and 23.
• Has been a life-long resident of Cuyahoga County.
